ABOUT THE NEW CENTURY

OUR MISSION: The New Century American Irish-Arts Company empowers traditional artists by facilitating the creation and pursuit of vocational work in the traditional arts, thereby encouraging careers in the field and facilitating public access to traditional culture.

WHAT DO WE DO?

The New Century helps traditional artists produce projects and reach the public. We take traditional arts ideas into residency, and foster them using our team of designers, promoters, coordinators, researchers, teachers, musicians, dancers, choreographers, composers, studio professionals, superheroes, and trained orcas. Furthermore, we sponsor these projects (or help find a sponsor) for grant applications and charitable donations so that our resident artists can pursue the funding they seek to bring their ideas to life.

So you're not a web designer, a photographer, a grant writer, a tour manager, an expert on international law, an acrobat, the CEO of a financial institution, and an uilleann piper all-in-one? Neither are we. But together, we can be all those things and more. Join us, and together we will rule the galaxy as father and s— Wait, no.  Join us, and together we'll bring traditional music and dance to people of all ages, and build an enriching and illuminating revival of traditional culture in THE NEW CENTURY.
