Class Description:
Annette Collins of Armagh will teach several steps from her large repertoire in an intimate setting. The class will include a version of The Jockey to the Fair from Robert Hunter and several of Matt Freerick’s reel steps. Good friends, light refreshments, and live music.

Annette Collins is an experienced and active Step Dance performer and teacher based in Co Armagh, Northern Ireland; working primarily in Ireland and mainland Europe. Annette's enthusiasm for old style step dancing was triggered as an adult, learning her craft from Patrick O'Dea, Michael Tubridy, Joe McGuiggan, Brenda O'Callaghan among others.  Annette is a member of the Dan Furey Group and the Northern Irish dance group convened by Joe McGuiggan.

Annette works as a dance/music teacher and performer; as well as her weekly dance and music classes she offers step workshops in Ireland and at events across Europe.   Her workshops are characterised by her creation of a supportive and professional environment; and by her consistently inclusive and engaging style.
